History

The Children's House Montessori School was founded in 1969 by members of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church who wanted to offer a quality preschool program that was also affordable. 

The school has continued to grow and prosper. We presently offer classes for children age 18 months through grade 6.  Each of our classrooms is staffed with an A.M.I. (Association Montessori International) certified teacher.

Staff

In all of our six environments an AMI certified teacher guides the students through the Montessori lessons and materials.  In addition to their Association Montessori International (AMI) training, Bachelor's or Master's degrees, and up to 30 years experience teaching at our school: all of our teachers continue their education through conferences, workshops and refresher courses.

Our Montessori program is enhanced with the addition of music, Spanish, yoga and gardening classes.
