The Journey is the ultimate parent education opportunity providing you with in depth information about Montessori education. the class begins at 8AM and continues through lunch until 1PM. Parents visit each classroom receiving a presentation from each teacher relating Montessori curriculum to the developmental stages of the child. As we move from the infant/toddler through the primary to the elementary and through the adolescent program you will gain a better understanding of the complete Montessori experience. There are two opportunities to attend a Journey Into Discovery class each school year. The class is held once in the spring and once in the fall. When registering your child at Children's House you are making a commitment to Montessori education. Because the number of opening s is so limited we want your decision to be an informed one. It is required that you attend a Journey when registering your child in our program. In the fall families on our waiting list will receive letters announcing the dates of the Journeys Into Discovery for next school year with registration forms.
