Children’s House Montessori School has been offering a well-established, progressive, and individualized learning experience for over 50 years. We currently serve children from 18 months through sixth grade. Our mission is to help each student develop independence, cultivate a lifelong passion for learning, and realize their full potential through Montessori principles. We are currently seeking a music teacher to work with all of our age groups. The position requires a degree in Music Education or at least four years of experience teaching music. The curriculum will encompass singing, movement, exploration of various composers and genres, and, for children in fourth grade and above, instrumental instruction. Additionally, the music teacher will prepare students for two annual performances, one in December and one in May. As a small school, our Special Area teachers also occasionally assist in our main classrooms as substitute assistant teachers when needed.
